A perfect day wrapped in love

Ah, it feels so good to put down the books for a little while and just write! I have been reading four chapters a day for my class plus reading a book for a book report my brain is tried from taking in all of the information. Last weekend, or should I last Sunday, the forth, James and I had a pretty perfect independence day, very unusually, but none the less a great day in my book. We started off the day with going to the movies to see Eclipse. I was surprised when James offered to take me, seeing he had suffered through it once, since he had to preview it, but found it very sweet of him to watch it again with me for FREE! Free being the best part, of course. I have to say that out of all the movies this one was by far the best, although I did notice some difference in the movie from the book, none to major though. After watching the movie we rushed back to the apartment and quickly got dress for two of our best friends wedding. I was a little aggravated that I only had fifteen minutes to get dress, but I did it, none the less.
All in all I have to say the wedding was beautiful and fun but VERY HOT. I don't know what Leslie and Kody were thinking when they decided to have an out door wedding in the middle of summer. Below are pictures from the wedding and reception with captions of what is going on.
James thought he was too cool to take off his glasses Exchanging rings and Vowles, and yes he does have a blue mohock. Brides Maids objecting Grooms men objecting Walking down the aisle after they said I do. A good fount view of leslie's dress. Me and the lovely bride at the reception. Both her and Kody did change out of their wedding attire for the reception. The grooms men singing my girl to the BrideIt is hard to tell all the guys who went on the floor to catch the guarder are dancing to the song jump on it. If you notice James is in the very back right hand corner. This is the first time I have ever seen him dance and was shock. I enjoyed watching him have a great time with his buddies and enjoy the fact he got to talk and catch up with them.

Once leaving the wedding we headed back to temple and on the way back, we did get to see some fireworks! James and I also played a game that was played at the wedding between the bride and the groom. It was a game to see how well they knew each other and which was probably more likely to do something. I do have to say again in this blog that James and I playing this game was again his ideal, which again shocked me, because he never likes things of this short. One of the questions that was asked is who do you think is the better cook, and I though james would agree with me, and say me, but he did not. I told him I was never cooking again for him, joking of course, and since then have already cooked for him. Seeing fireworks and playing the game was a great romintic ending to a great day.

  2. That does sound like a very good day, indeed. I'd rather James have his glasses on then a blue Mohawk. Ha.
